 Daylight Saving Time is here! While the longer days are exciting, losing an hour of sleep? Not so much! The time change can mess with your routine—including how and when you brush your teeth! Here’s how to spring forward without letting your oral hygiene fall behind:

1. Set a “Brush O’Clock” Reminder 🕰️

Your body takes time to adjust, so if you’re feeling tired and forgetful, set an alarm to remind you when it’s time to brush and floss! Make it fun with a favorite song or a silly ringtone!

2. Sleep = Smile Power 😴

Did you know that not getting enough sleep can lead to cavities? Lack of sleep weakens your immune system, making your mouth more prone to bacteria. So, even though it’s light outside later, try to stick to a bedtime!

3. Hydrate Like a Boss 💧

Feeling groggy? Drink more water! Water helps wash away sugar and food particles, keeping your smile fresh and your energy up.

4. Brushing Challenge! 🦷

Turn brushing into a fun competition! Challenge a sibling or friend to see who can brush for the full two minutes (no cheating!) and reward yourself with an extra bedtime story or fun screen time.

5. Plan a Spring Smile Refresh 🌸

New season = time for a fresh start! Swap out your old toothbrush for a new one with soft bristles and schedule your next orthodontic visit to keep your smile on track.
